Creativity Integrity Connection

Catherine Squire

Catherine believes in the power of people working together for change. Her practice as a facilitator, trainer and consultant is based on experience working in roles from emergency grants manager in an UK-based charity, to founder of a local NGO support organisation in Iran and from manager of a multi-agency consortium to board member of a local youth club in the UK.

Since starting her freelance work in 2000, she has focussed on capacity development with small and medium sized organisations – including developing strategy, building skills, governance, leadership and organisational values. Most recently she has been training consultants from the global South who are supporting organisational change with NGOs and CBOs.

Catherine has experience of working in the Middle East supporting the growth of local civil society organisations. She researched a history of the development of Civil Society in Iran (published by INTRAC). She has also worked on organisational development programmes with NGOs in West, Central and Southern Africa, Thailand and the UK.
